Command Scripter works in a heterogeneous host environment that includes Tru64 UNIX, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Sun Solaris, OpenVMS, IBM-AIX, and HP-UX. With Command Scripter, IT managers can create, edit, and run script files that contain StorageWorks Command Line Interpreter (CLI) commands to automate frequently performed StorageWorks operations. Command Scripter was developed in response to customer requests for an easy-to-use, command level control of array controllers. Designed for the experienced IT manager, Command Scripter provides flexibility by allowing users to connect through a web-based interface or directly to the array controllers.
