These PDUs have a unique modular architecture, allowing customers to fan out the power outlets along the length of the rack. Providing easy accessibility, increased outlet count, the new high amperage Modular PDUs offer you the flexibility to mount your units in several different locations within the rack, without having to sacrifice valuable rack U-space.
The new Modular PDU line has a unique modular architecture designed specifically for the dense data center customers who want to maximize their power distribution and space efficiencies in the rack. Modular PDUs consist of two essential building blocks, the Control Unit and the Extension Bar(s). The Control Unit is 1U/0U mountable, and the Extension Bars mount directly to the frame of the rack. Available in 16A - 40A current ratings, each unit ships with one Control Unit and up to four Extension Bars, offering up to 32 outlets. The 16A model, with its detachable input power cord feature, offers increased flexibility and adaptability, by allowing customers to use country specific input power cords.
