HP's iPAQ Navigation System (iNS) brings together the latest in GPS hardware and navigation software to provide the best and most advanced navigation experience. The system not only shows you where to go, it verbally guides you to your destination in real-time with audible and full turn-by-turn directions. For example, a user would hear "1 mile ahead, turn left onto the A408, Broadview Road". And if you miss a turn or get off track, the iNS automatically re-routes you. Unlike fixed, and far more expensive on-board systems, you can also transfer your iNS between vehicles.

The iPAQ Navigation System is the only guidance system to offer the safety of full text-to-voice features and the capability for delivery of live information about traffic conditions as an upgrade Service from HP's partner Team Warrior. Identified by HP as the best solution, the iNS was also selected by BMW for use on an HP iPAQ in the new Mini Cooper.

The iPAQ Navigation System v 2 replaces the iPAQ Navigation System 1.2. It is a new product, re-engineered and improved; it's simply better.
