The iPAQ Navigation System 3 brings together the latest in GPS hardware and navigation software to provide the best and most advanced navigation experience. The system not only shows you where to go, it verbally guides you to your destination in real-time with audible turn-by-turn directions. You will actually hear, "1 mile ahead, turn left on Broadview Road". And if you miss a turn or get off track, the iPAQ Navigation System automatically reroutes you. Unlike fixed, and far more expensive on-board systems, you can also transfer your iPAQ Navigation System between vehicles. The routing software is widely recognised as the best-in-class Navigation and Guidance software for PC and Pocket PC devices.
What's in the box?CompactFlash GPS Receiver
This is a highly sensitive GPS receiver that plugs into a CompactFlash slot forming an integrated navigation unit. This GPS works well in very low-signal environments, even indoors, and an optional external antenna can be positioned for optimal satellite reception.
Quickstart Data Card
A 128 MB SD card pre-loaded with software and maps of the UK and Ireland. There is no need to use your PC to install iNS onto your iPAQ. Simply insert the card into the iPAQ and the software will self-install within seconds.
Power adapter
The power adapter plugs into a 12-volt vehicle power socket and powers the GPS receiver and iPAQ simultaneously.
PDA Mount
This cradle fits all iPAQs and is secured using a dashboard air-vent clip. The dashboard mount provides the safest and most secure self-installed in-vehicle fixing available, maximising driver's visibility.
LiveWire Traffic
30-day free subscription to LiveWire Traffic service. Pre-loaded onto the Quickstart data card and CD, simply follow the instructions to try out the very latest in live traffic and news services.
