HP offers a new LaserJet MFP Upgrade kit. With this user installable upgrade for the HP LaserJet 8000/8100/8150 Series printers, you get valuable new features that enhance workgroup productivity. Now users can print, copy, and convert hardcopy documents into digital formats to be sent through e-mail and LanFax (optional) all from one device. Single-pass duplex copying through dual scan heads provides unsurpassed reliability. Convenient, walk-up copying within the workgroup with an easy-to-see touchscreen. Digital sender technology sends documents in PDF, TIFF and MTIFF file formats with single-pass duplex and custom paper functionality. The kit also allows rapid conversion of paper documents into digital format for transmittal to any e-mail address while controlling confidentiality.
